Welcome to Tosa Coffee Company! We are veteran owned and operated serving up coffee that we roast in store. We also make all of our pastries in house and have an assortment of NY Bagels to choose from and enjoy.

So where does the name Tosa come from? Hiroki, our loyal mascot pictured to the left, is a Tosa Inu, also known as a Japanese Mastiff. Eric, the owner, was stationed in Japan for almost 3 years during his time in the Army, where he was lucky enough to get Hiroki. He is one of a few dozen purebreds from Japan here in the USA. Tosa Inu’s have a long history as they accompanied Samurais into battle and continue to accompany the Samurai class today.

With an aviation theme throughout the shop, our logo features Hiroki in an old pilots cap! Eric (who wasn’t a pilot during his 21 years in the army) is a corporate pilot, and is often flying high over Richmond Hill.
